Oh Valentine! On February 14, 2007 the elegant croquet club in West Palm Beach hosted the KIND's "Teaching Heart and Minds" fashion show. Ladies dressed in the finest fashion enjoyed lunch on the veranda while viewing a fashion show held by 8 different shops throughout the county. The event raised $15,000 dollars from the silent auction. Joan Novell and board member Cindy Mandes chaired the event bringing much flare and grace.

On April 13, 2007 we had our first KIND Cruise. It was truly an amazing night filled with dancing, dinning, and a picaresque voyage on the inter-coastal. The "SS Catalina" set sail from the Sailfish Club for an evening of festivities for the KIND Foundation fundraiser. With a live and silent auction KIND raised much needed funds to continue its scholarship program. KIND parents and families attend to support the fundraising efforts. The response to the cruise was so positive we hope to repeat it in future years.

Save the Date!
The KIND Foundation's next big fundraising event is something totally new, thrilling, and full of surprises. This event will be held at the Palm Beach Zoo on April 5th, 2008 at 6pm. The dress is jungle casual! Men can be comfortable sporting their Tommy Bahama attire and women in their marvelous animal prints. There will be a "best-dressed" contest, along with a silent and live auction. Zoo tours will be given by our very own KIND children, who will be safari leaders. The night will be filled will dancing, an exciting silent and live auction, and of course the wonderful company of KIND Friends. We and the animals hope to see you there!
