Over a hundred shipmates (event attendees) boarded the yacht, The Catalina, to cruise along the Palm Beach Intracoastal, dine on fine hors d'oeuvres and a scrumptious roast beef dinner and sip on cocktails to raise over $20,000 for KIND's Kids. The cruise on April 16 titled Cruisin' For KIND's Kids Future left the Rybovich Marina in West Palm Beach. It featured author, comedian and motivational speaker Jeff Nichols. He performed and talked about his dyslexia along with how it affected and changed his life. Nichols is the author of the amusing autobiography, Trainwreck: My Life As An Idiot. He is the son of Cynthia Gibbons. Live music on the deck of the boat had guests grooving and dancing and attendees enjoyed bidding on silent and live auction items. The money raised will teach financially in need dyslexic children to read.
